This is a simple but effective 3D reflective image tutorial for photoshop.
Create a new document in photoshop, for this tutorial i will be using just text but you can apply the same technics on any image you like.
You then want to make a copy of the layer by either dragging it down to the copy layer icon in you layers tool box or layer/duplicate layer.
Once that is done you will need to flip the layer by clicking edit/transform/flip horizontal.
The next thing is to add a gradiant but first you will need to switch to edit in quick mask mode by pressing Q Once in quick mask select gradiant tool. Set the forground colour to black and background colour to white. Click edit gradiant and make sure that its set to Forground to Background.
Put the curser around about bottom third of top txt line and extend it down 2 thirds of the bottom line of txt.
Then exit quick mask mode and go back into edit in standard mode.
At this point u may need to rasterize layer and for this all you need to do is goto layer/rasterize/layer.
Then hit delete once then ctrl D to deselect the selection.
As it still looks quite bright all thats left to do is change the transparency of that layer a little to say 25% looks not to bad if its still bright then go a little less. In this case it was set to 60%
Final results..........
