Wow!!! Where do I begin ?

Im overwhelemed for many reasons.
Okay straight into it.

I'm a gamer and my clan uses IPB forums and a portal and have some for a long time.
I have been after a theme based site forever so it seems.

I used a few cms before like e107 which was alright but the forums were horrible, and lacked way too many features so we ditched it and went back to ipb because we loved the forums and stuff you can do with ipb.

IPB doesnt intergate with nuke or really anything well or at all.

I was searching for new forum software and what sort of skins they have becuse how the site "looks" matters alot to me as does the functioning of the forums as well.

I came across your site because I was reading about phpbb forums and then searched for skins/themes for those forums and found your site and thats when WOW, Amazing hit me.

Forums arent too bad at all, and I can colourize the groups just like I can with IPB which is something that stands out and I like anyway.

Dislikes so far is the avatar post count etc is all above a forum reply and not on the left hand side like on most forums. Is this standard and fixed like that or can be customised ?

Your themes Im somewhat confused, I dont understand plantinum, standard and evolution theme things.
Is there different styles/versions of php and thats what those tehem categories refer too and only work on certain versions ?

Mods/plugins matter too of course, are yours only available from your site directly and wont work unless its used with your theme ?

Im VERY New too php nuke as you can see... and am impressed and in awe from what I am seeing and can possibly forsee my dream site to be a reality but am highly confused though learn quickly (Sort of anyway lol)

"Please Note" is that a mode thats above the forum when making a topic or its mods/or features of phpbb ?

Club package, are your mods and other download files only available by paying for them and does the club feee include themes or thats separate fee ?

The themes I see some or most theme/skin phpbb forums as well, thats awesome, but what happens if for example you like a specific php nuke theme but dont like the matching forum theme and would rather a different theme for the forums thats part of a set from another php nuke theme ? can you mix and match or ???

I don thave alot of money too buy different themes etc

Are there any mods/plugins etc for bf2142 like stats, trackers and so forth ?

I assume the theme headers can be fully replaced with customised ones ?

Actually can the headers rotate ? as in upon refresh display different headers ? Does such a thing exist for php nuke like i can do with ipb for the header?

Is there some more detailed way too view php nuke themes that also theme the phpbb forums in more detail as in post view, forum view etc etc ? I dont see too see really much or any screen shots or live demos too view for more detail which I feel is vital before buying due it being non refundable.

There are other questions but for now this will do as I need too await for these to be answered first.

I appreciate your time for whoever reads this and I hope too see a response for my questions and queries in easy to comprehend terms for a noob too php nuke and possibly phpbb forums etc.

I can't even bring myself to read all that. So let me explain a few things you might have. This is the phpnuke cms. Our themes are built around it and all of our mods also. You should check out this link and download the raven nuke distro if you plan to continue using nuke.

However I did read one question I would like to answer - Normally the avatar is on the left, but we chose to put it up top as it gave us more room to work with. Bigger images and more room for signatures. ETC....

It could be moved back to the left for your template, but I suggest you give it a shot. It will grow on you quickly.

Hi Hippie

The forums here at clan-themes have been heavily modified, the modifications for phpbb are endless that's one of the many great things about phpbb.
My personal opinion is that phpnuke is by far the best cms for a clan website, u can do so much.

As for your BF2142 stats question i recently read that EA are not allowing a method to call your stats from their servers like they allow in BF2 ( i could be wrong ) but i dont think i am.

Nuke Themes : The themes here are the best clan themes ive seen on the net, i would definitely recommend a theme for clan-themes just have a look at the positive feedback they have received.

This is what I was really interested in too, when I first came here. I wonder, how did you customize your forum to look like that? Would you or whoever customized the forum, consider writing a tutorial on how to customize the forum for those who would like that look in their site? If not, then it's ok. It was worth a shot, huh. Wink
