Problem with attachment mod Posted: Thu May 17, 2007 2:32 pm

I tried putting on Attachment mod 2.3.11 on my bbtonuke 2.0.22, even tried upgrading to 2.3.14

The thing is, that the attachment itself is working fine, showing up in forums..getting downloaded etc.
However, many things in my admin panel arent working any more.
Like in Attachments Management - CP is working, everything else is not
in Extensions Management, Special Cateogires isnt working
in Forums management, Management and Pruning are not working.

Just nothing shows up, the right frame goes blank....no source of the relevant section is loaded up, just the config of my theme appears when I check the page's source.
What should I do?

Well i tried to install it when we first opened and couldnt get it to work and if i recall i had similar problems in the admin area...

Floppy installed ours that we have atm were working on v2.0.20 he did it when i was away last week , i know hes really busy atm but hopefully he will see this and might be able to offer you some advice or help

yes i made backups, actually i experimented with it on a clone site anyway Embarrased

Tried 2.4.0 too, they arent working either. Found out that only 2.4.5 supports 2.0.22, but it hasnt been ported from phpbb to bbtonuke, and seems like no one ever will Crying

My problem has been sorted as far as that I know why it was occuring (attachment mod < 2.4.5 not compatible with bbtonuke 2.0.22), however as I said it hasnt been solved. Some ppl advised me to downgrade bbtonuke and install 2.4.0, but I aint doing that, since apart from vulnerabilities in older bbtonuke, there are script vulnerabilities in older attachment mods too.

So, please tell your friend, releasing it would help a lot of people!

I know evader was starting the port for floppy but havent sen anymore posts about its completion yet over at evaders squadron. Dont know if id pay that much for a port of anyting.. LMAO

Also i have 2.40 working with 8.0 my friend. If you want, send me your files and i can edit them for you. Shouldnt take me no more then an hour to get it all functioning for you. I have it loaded in 8.0 at www.totallynukedmods.com if you would like to check it out.

I can send you the copy i have running on all of my nuke 8.0 sites. All files have been edited to stay within the forums folder as it should be. Get ahold of me on msn at george_halstead@hotmail.com and ill send you the 8.0 version. It isnt 2.45 it is 2.40 i hope thats ok.
