ok so in the ie browser things seem to center correct but in chrome they do not.

For example if you goto registration the info fields are centered in ie and to the left in chrome

ok i just changed my theme and everything is centered again?

That tells me it something with the theme..

ok so i have also been having registration problems with my site and i came across a post that seemed to think the theme could be the issue.so i changed my theme to one of the others i have and the centering and registration problem fixed itself..

i relay like this theme and would like to use it ,if i could get some help that would be great..

Can you post a screenshot or even better change your sites default theme to the one in question live demo style.

I was reading between the lines of the problem and I worked it out

In IE the registration form for MW3 is aligning center, and the the module uses <table ='center' however the MW3 theme in firefox and chrome was aligning it left.

I found the problem it was in the style.css, strange how it was only effecting FF and Chrome though

Just upload this new style.css to your yoursite.com/themes/MW3_Xtreme/style/ folder

Ok thanks for that .Now the centering is fixed but the registration isnt.

i can register a new account with a different theme but not this one ? any thoughts?

erm thats a new one...

I cant see why a theme would affect the registration process

let me test mine, ive not had any other complaints yet either, what browser can you not register in ?

ok so here is a link from evolutionextreme that i have followed and resolved with all my other themes.
I cant seem to register with any Browser..

The fix they talk about is relaed to the database... nothing do do with theme, its a backend problem, a theme is just a skin

Like I said I have not had no other complaints, I will test it on mine in the morning...but I know it will work

Ahhh ... They seem to think its related to the TOS page, and you a re using the TOS page... turn the TOS page off and you should be okay

I have no idea where you turn the TOS off as I dont use Xtreme, its at yoursite.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&file=admin&op=UsersConfig

Weird i went through this all again i changed the theme and im able to register in chrome and ie with the tos on .

i try it with this theme and it doesn't work .

i turned off the tos and registered with chrome and ie with a different theme with no problem .

i try this theme and it doesn't work .

im completely mifed as to why that would be .

i dont know what else to do ..

Any Thoughts

could it be something to do with the prototype.js or any of the extra's causing the issue. Though it does sound that it would be CMS side, for it to only have this error with this theme, and works fine with other themes, makes me have to say that it's something with the theme, maybe some sort of configuration, or one of the additional scripts given with the mod causing the issue.

I dunno.

prototype.js is the framework for testing Ajax

Your supposed to turn it off and only use it for development but Xtreme left it intact (turned on)

Anyway that to one side.

A theme has no bearing on a user signing up, all a theme is is a skin of images and CSS sitting on top of the registration form which is hard coded into the Your_Account module...

I just tested it on my install of Xtreme and the MW3_Xtreme theme and it works fine

If you want to throw me admin access to yoursite I will jump on and confirm it for you, because I cannot test it on yoursite as you have switched to another theme.

I would leave the TOS off as it has been verified that it is messing up the registration process in the thread posted in the Xtreme forums as well
