Hey if someone would help me put phpnuke onto my website it would be highly appreciated i have already put phpnuke under my 'public_html' file and I need help configuring the 'config.php' file. I would love if a trusted prison on this we site would help me.

Use nuke Evo Extreme or Raven nuke standand nuke will only cause you trouble. I recomend evo extreme for you because your new to php nuke and it has all the mods pre installed. http://evolution-xtreme.com/

Install nuke evo.

Upload all the files inside the root folder to your server.

Go into your hosting account, cpanel or what ever it uses. look for databases. Create a new database and then a new database user. Remember the info you enter, your need it later.

Then link the user to the data base. This is done on the same page normally with drop down boxes.

Now go to yoursite.com/install.php and follow the instructions, enter database name, database user and the pass. click next to the end then delete install.php and your finished.

You dont have to manually enter the info into config.php with Evo Extreme its done in the install script, only Raven and standard nuke needs manual editing.

Have a go at it yourself first. If your still having trouble you can PM me your Hosting acount/ FTP info.

Remember stay away from standard php nuke!

Okay thank you for the tips i highly appreciate it. and do i need to put php evo extreme 2.0 and upgrade it one at a time up to 2.9 ? seems like a hassle or can i just download 2.9 version and put that one on?

Good Spot 5STAR didnt see that, install raven nuke instead if you want to use your themes.

The instrustions are pretty much the same, but you need to open up config.php and enter your info, database name pass ect into it manually. then go to yoursite.com/INSTALLATION/installSQL.php instead.

His MW3 theme is Standard Evo v2.07

I can upgrade him to a Xtreme version for free on the MW3 variant if thats what he wants to use
