Okay ever since I have created this website there has been that Waiting User list gets bigger everyday.

Just random usernames. Spam emails etc.

Is there a way that these dont come in anymore.?

I wouldn't worry about waiting users, they have 24hrs to activate the account

If they do not activate the account they have tried to make it "should" delete it


on a side note someone else was reporting this problem a while back, have you searched the Evo Xtreme forums http://evolution-xtreme.com/ for similar complaints ?

well I have some experience with these kind of errors because of my strollings into the free webhost waters.

first of all I would like to establish that you have a paid for webhost, if you are using a free webhost chances are that mail() function is not allowed for being used.

Having said that there would be a way around it if you were to use a free webhost by using SMTP mail. Which is set up quite easily if TegoNuke Mailer is added to Evo Extreme (something which I do not know out the top of my head because I'm purely a Raven's PHP Nuke fan). If there is some sort of mailer equivalent or TegoNuke Mailer itself included in Evo Extreme and you ARE running on a free webhost try using the SMTP mail function on the mailer.

You can choose either one of the following:


  1. make a google (gmail) account so that you can start your SMTP mail straight away. just do some research on how to set it up, through IMAPP or POP3.
  2. Use hotmail as a SMTP service (I do not have any experience with this but I do beleive it is possible)
  3. Use your own mail account as an SMTP service (this is not adviced seeing that all mails from your website will come through your personal mail aswell)


If you are having a paid for host, your best bet would be to check the Evolution Extreme forums as Ped pointed out.

I just wanted to make sure that you knew about the SMTP solution if in the case that you are running your website from a free webhost.
