This is weird, a while ago, someone registered to my site without me approving them and their account got approved, then they posted a thread about an Xbox 360 elite controller and I removed them and I just created an account for my new clan member and the exact same thread popped up in my forums with the exact same text and the exact same category. I assume it's a hack. Here's the post:

probably a bot, they are getting real smart lol. standard captcha are no problem for the advanced bot.

Google their email address thats how i decide if a user is a bots or not, if it is i just remove them.

Make sure in your forums ACP under General Admin / Configuration that you have Enable account activation set to none.
