hi,

OK so, I just built a evo extreme website, the 1 and only problem I am having is moving the user data, and forum data tables over from nuke platinum to nuke evo extreme. obviously they are different. problem is I don't know much about databases. I mean is this even possible? if so how can any one help?

i think these are all of the tables i need if any one know of any others i need please advise Angel

nuke_bbforums (not to fussed about this one as i can put them in through admin)
nuke_bbposts_text
nuke_users

I could take a crack at it.
did you do a clean install of Nuke evo extreme? and are there any registrations yet?

If you provide me with both the database dump files, I could probably convert the most of it for the use of your Evolution extreme site.

I would advice you to wait with posting those files yet though, because either Noto or Dre might come up with a script which does it for ya.

There is one and it should be in the evo-Xtreme zip.

On the same token, if all you are doing is moving the users over then there is no need to redo what is already there.

Keep in mind, its not the version of nuke you are using with the version of the phpbb forums. The tables will match up, just backup, download, and upload the appropriate files. If the aql is to big, you will need to contact your host and either have them add the db or take off the size restriction.

I believe its the Nuke_Users string you need to get.

You can use bigdump if the database is to large to dump in one hit, ive used it many times its great and so simple to use.

hi,

thanks for the help so far.

i have exported the nuke_users table from platinum and imported to evo extreme. every thing looked to go good, however any thing phpbb side of the site comes up with the following error:

Your nuke_user table is missing the column birthday_display.

Add it with phpmyadmin.

ALTER TABLE `nuke_users` ADD birthday_display tinyint(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';

Your probably find your missing more than just that one. you should look at the default extreme user table, so you can see info on the ones your missing. Especially type, default values ect.

Yes this would be the case, problem is i no longer have a copy of the default.

i entered the code witch worked great, 2 problem that i have now noticed,

1, every person the is a reg use shows there birthday in the next 7 days field in forums.

i figured the 2nd problem,

after i added the user_from_flag column i also had to add

after that i can now read posts. from what i can see the only problem left it the birthday problem

it shows ages like "-5812" basicly a load of numbers that make no sense.
i have a feeling tho the only way to fix it would be to input birthdays?

please tell me im wrong lol
