Hey there guys .. have a few questions about sommaire

Now first questions is.. how can i create a button using sommaire that switches between logout and login depending on the users login status..

and when i select the option to make modules invisible to users.. and make the button invisible.. visitors can still see these buttons..

any ideas?

You can't based on there status, on my site, I just have a "Logout" button, the login is there next to the Nav with the CZUser info block.

Yea.. i had only a logout button on my original menu.. but figured i would ask the questions while i configure one with sommarie.. :)

Sommiare as in the module?

It's the same as every other module, you can set permissions in the admin panel. As for a logging in and out button, it's a moot point. Why recreat buttons there that you already have in your navigation?

If its a must, you will need to collect the link for both the log in and lot out. Open sommiare which for some unknown reason is the "Menu" in the Evo Xtreme version. Under the catagory content there are text areas with a drop down menu. Click on the drop down menu and click on the "External Link" option. Two boxes will appear to the right. Add the link into the appropriate box, which has the "http" in it. Then, add the name of the link into the other.

Scroll down to and click on SAVE MODIFICATIONS

and that should be it.

He wanted it to have the ability to switch. meaning if your logged in, it would show the logout button, and vise versa. What you mentioned I believe he already knew.

It did seem an odd question to be asked of a module.
