Hi i just download the BF3 theme and i followed the installation text and uploaded the Extreme file to my ftp in the file THEME... But when i changed theme to the new one and refresh my webpage to see it nothing happens i get a Error HTTP 500 message....

Can any one tell me exactly what files i should be uploading to my ftp and in what file i should be putting them in.

Thanks for your help in this mater.

I trust that your running Nuke-Evo Xtreme 2.0.9d as your theme has been purchased for that version..

Also im under the assumption Ped has set this one up similar to the MW3 one.. so i will base it off that..

Basically find the "http" folder within your theme download.. and when u get in there.. there should be some subfolders.. i.e "blocks", "Includes", "Modules" and "themes" or something similar to this.. each of these need to be ftp'd to their respective folders..so just open up each folder and upload them to their corresponding folders..
Example:
Blocks (ftp)---> public_html/blocks
Includes (ftp)---> public_html/includes
Modules (ftp)---> public_html/modules
theme (ftp)---> public_html/theme

You will find the actual theme itself in your themes folder.. and should look somthing like BF3_Xtreme .. you need to just upload that folder to your public_html/themes folder..

Once all that is done.. you will need to click to install the theme (option for this is in the theme management module once your file has been uploaded)

No vivi, he is using some obscure french cms which is either a derrivative of Php nuke or its pre deccessor... Also the name of the theme is bf3 xtreme if I'm not mistaking.

As far as help for that cms in relation to that theme, I'm seeing problems... Nuked klan is an un supported cms around these forums. If it is for a new website I'd recommend ravens php nuke or evo extreme.

Let me know if you need any help in installing in either one of these two cms'

If you are running NukeKlan, then you would need to change your CMS to get that to work. NukeKlan last i heard is a dead CMS. If thats the case, I would look at switching CMS systems, probably to something like Evo Extreme.

Oh no no.. i kinda figured he was running something a little different from his title thats why i said "i trust your running xtreme" only because the xtreme CMS is coded differently .. and he had purchased the theme for the xtreme CMS.. it wont work on any other CMS..

He would have seen this warning from Ped before he purchased the theme

Because he would of seen this warning.. and the warning on the subsequent page about the digital goods not being refundable due to purchase for wrong CMS .. i just assumed he was working on an xtreme CMS .. that is all :)

So think we all need a deep breath and a smile...

For his theme to work.. would have to re-up a new CMS.. the Xtreme CMS .. which can be found:

Yes I knew that coding is different for each distro. But I thought that the name of the theme was bf3 xtreme, my bad.

So bottom line for the owner of this topic:

you bought the wrong product
the product you want is not available for your distro
you made the purchase and this is final, there is no refund for buying the wrong product

This leaves you with two options:

you can swap over from nuked klan 1.7.9 towards nuke evolution extreme (which of a very fine cms with a lot of bells and whistles)
you can contact Ped to convert your theme to your own cms

Option two will be pricey. I've read an article which is similar to this option. Someone was using E107 cms and wanted a neat looking theme for that particular cms. The lowest price in the convertion process was 105 pounds. The highest was around 600.

These prices came from ped himself, he works at a rate of 15 pounds an hour, the convertion will take in at least 1 day (roughly speaking) and the themes are probably not going to sell through the nuked klan user family, meaning it will br a custom job, which is expensive.

That is the general line out. This leaves you with only option one (in my book) swap over to nuke evolution extreme

Yes, that was an Oversight. I just had finished a long shift for the Kill the Mod event for WarGaming where I had to play for 7 hours and making it so people could win "gold", in game gold that is usually purchased with real $$. 7 hours of non-stop playing tends to make your eyes a little buggy.

As for the question at hand, As stated, your best option would be to change over your CMS to something that is at least still support and updated with the current security fixes. It will be cheaper and in the long run, safer for you and your clan and it's continued growth.

This cms is still supported. I've had a look at their site and it looks like a lovely stripped bare version of phpnuke mixed with webspell , i have to say i really like it.

unfortunately its themes are completely different to how todays phpnuke themes work it wouldn't be a huge job but would it be worth it.

Unless you're a die-hard fan of Nuked-Klan i would do what everyone else has said, go over to extreme. I not looked into the database structure of Nuked-Klan but im sure you could salvage your articles and users maybe even more. if your site is new and don't have much content then that's even better.

UPDATE: Just had a play on it and its just like webspell. infact i dont think it even started off as phpnuke. Database, structure, theme, coding no resemblance at all
