Hi guys!

I'm currently wondering about how to make this module work on my Raven's PHP-Nuke 2.40.01 website.

it's a donations block, but I can't seem to make it work (I noticed that compatability is set to PHP-Nuke but it states that it is created for PNC)

Some help would be appreciated.

This is a mod of another module, do you have the original installed first, maybe nuke treasury.

Probably just needs the sql querys updating to the new format raven is using.

Hello actnreactgaming,

I'm scope1234, i would like to try and help you, but first i need to ask some questions:

What is YOUR website, with a page with this module enabled on?
Is the above link the exact link you downloaded this module from?
Did you follow the install.txt properly, making sure that you read the 2 step install carfully?
Are you sure this is compatible with your current CMS?

@Noto: it is the module it self that he has downloaded, i downloaded and got his install.txt file;

to install

you should now have a fully working £ paypal donations module.

So it shouldnt need a update, i dont even think it needs to be installed to be honest (As in from a install.php config file)

Back to you actnreactgaming, I hope you ahve a bak up of the original donation system just in case. If me or no one else can fix this over the forums I'll be glad to take look into it through TeamViewer 5 or direct FTP/SFTP, but as a last resort, as I'm sure our fantasic members can help fix this issue you are having.

FYI: If there are typo's in this reply, i do appoligise, i got a new keyboard and im still not use to the layout and the keys are flat and its hard to hit them in the right place!

no offence scope, but in fact Noto was right. This is in fact an modification from the origional module. All it does is make it show up as Great Brittain Pounds rather than US dollars. This does need the origional one and it is in fact not a complete module.

Noto was right to think that it needs the Nuke Treasury module / mod enabled (something which I haven't done yet). I haven't gotten any donation system just yet, thats why I tried this one. But I do think that it is in fact a conversion system for Nuke Treasury module from USD towards GBP.

I am however having difficulties trying to set up the IPN for paypal. Anyone got any idea's if i need a business model from paypal in order to get it activated?

This explains how to enbable IPN for you paypal account.

You just add the link the module gives you into your paypal IPN Settings and turn it on.

Also might be worth taking a look at http://www.chipin.com/ ive seen this on many clan sites but have never used it. looks nice a clean.

few things I want to note:

v1.1 of the Nuke Treasury module isn't going to work properly with Raven's PHP-Nuke version 2.40.01
This one however is working flawlessly on my Raven's PHP-Nuke version 2.40.01 website
for IPN settings you need at least a Premium model on your paypal account and not "private"
I found out where to look for IPN settings (turns out that language barrier makes it a bit harder to locate in paypal, because they shuffled things over on another sub menu, but found it nevertheless

Did you have to do any modifications to get that Nuke Treasury to work on your RN site. If not then I will update the description to say it works on RN also. I only ported it to work on Evo, but being they are similar in many ways now, I can see it working.

nope no modifications made at any point, however if people might need to edit any files I would like to point them towards this topic:

It could be likely that in the event of any errors you might want to consult the ravenphpscripts website because they have the best support for their own product.
