Hi all!

I'm currently working on a project to get myself some more insight in the different CMS' of the Nuke family around. I'm currently running a live website of RN 2.40.01 but I'm taking a crack at manually transferring all the data of that database to a Evolution Extreme database.

Thing is: it came to my attention that Raven's Nuke is using a site key, something I'm guessing is used to encrypt the passwords upon registering. This would also mean that all information in my live database with regard to login information is pretty much useless if I don't use the same site key on my Evolution Extreme database. Thing is, the site key changes to be made in the configuration php files for Evolution Extreme aren't the same as in Raven's Nuke. Raven's Nuke puts the site key in config.php where I've no clue where Evolution Extreme puts them. I've been taking a look around and all I could find was this in mainfile.php:

$sitekey = md5($_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']);

where Raven's Nuke would display something like this:
$sitekey = '123456789!@#$%^&*()_+123456789'; (note: this is not my actual side key so don't even bother trying :P )

So does anybody have any clue whatsoever? are my assumptions correct that this site key is used to encrypt the passwords?

Sitekey has nothing to do with passwords or the database. Its used in the creation of the graphics, captcha images so on.

All nuke distros basically have the same database structure + or - a few rows/tables. You just need to find out what tables / rows are missing or been added, add or remove them if needed then dump your data accordingly.
