I am thinking to set up a new Raven Nuke site. Is there a better downloadmodule for RN. It must be easy to install, not to mutch editing, and RN must accsept it.

not to my knowledge. I think there might be a old one that was originally written for phpnuke, and it might work for RN, but the only downloads module that's had any type of overhauling was the one for Nuke Evo where earlier this year I released the version 1.2.

But I do know I was approached about 6 months ago if I wouldn't mind them porting it over to RavenNuke. I told them i had no problem with that, but I don't know if it was ever actually done. I know if it did get ported, it would be a great addition to RavenNuke.

We used the Enhanced Downloads Module v2.1 (in the downloads) on Clan Themes (Ravens Nuke)... we have though done some rather extensive custom work on the module our selves but as standard it has everything you need...

Montego has rewritten NSNGD downloads module for RavenNuke and it is the default downloads module in the upcoming RN 2.5 release.
