Post Challenge ladder 2.5.5 problem Posted: Fri Nov 04, 2011 8:55 am

I have installed the Challenge ladder 2.5.5. I cant seem to add games/teams or ladders.
I am sure I have messed up the installation somewhere, I have never done anything like this before. I can get into the admin area but when I go to add a game it wont let me type the info into the boxes. Im so confused.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe this will shed some light on this problem for someone..

I just reinstalled phpnuke for the 4th time. First thing Im trying to make work now is this ladder. Without it the whole process is a waste of time. I am following the instructions in the readme text.

Note* If you have run Nukeladder previously and want to start fresh,
please move any Nukeladder related files and run the uninstall.php file from the Install folder in the zip.)

-Unzip the the package and locate the 'html' folder.
-Upload the contents of the 'html' folder to your root Php-Nuke directory.
-Locate the Install folder from the zip file, inside you will find options for php and mysql installs.
We will use the php install.(skip the next step if you use the .sql file)
-Load the install folder to your root nuke directory and run the file in your browser.
-Login to the admin area of your site to enable the module and add any blocks.
-Check the config file for url options, and many other options

After I place the contents of the html folder in the rood directory, the module becomes active on my admin page and works exactly like my original problem. I think put the INSTALL folder in my root directory and I think this is where my issues starts. I dont think its actually installing completely. Nothing seems to change by placing the INSTALLL folder into the root directory. I would like to possibly try the .sql install and see if that helps.. but no instructions on how to install this way. Again I am very new at this entire process. Ty for your attention.
