PHPBB Forum Blog Hack, Admin CP Muck Up. Posted: Mon Apr 23, 2007 8:56 am

Well the title explains allot, but what happened was I was installing the blog mod, and 2 pages stuffed up, by error of me. The index of the forum which I have fixed and the frame on the left in the Admin CP. I am trying to find where I went wrong, but could someone please point me to the file(s) that hold that part of the admin cp?

where did you get this blog mod from ?

remember php nuke forums dont work like phpbb forums do they have been ported to work inside the php nuke distro and some things will be diffrent ! Confused

Wow, It took me like 20min to find a post with the same prob..LOL I have PHP Nuke 7.9 and installed a points mod and ran into the same prob. I don't have anything showing in the nav window on the left. I also backed up my files, but after a 20 min manual install of this mod I would really like to solve it then start over.

I Got IT!!! I was a bone head. When I back up files I usually just rename the orig to Whatever-orig.php If you did the same then with out thinking you also renamed modules/Forums/admin/admin_forums.php and
modules/Forums/admin/admin_users.php to
admin_forums-orig.php and
admin_users-orig.php

This, I guess, gave the program a hemorrhage (since it reads admin_whatever.php from the dir) so I change it to ad-orig-*.php and no more prob and my navigation on the left is back Woo Hoo!
