think ill go back to a fixed width theme for this one.... Im trying to bloody work out how they have that blurred background image on there settings page because that looks ace >> http://www.swtor.com/info/story/setting would love to replicate that effect on the new theme, I can see its JQuery but it looks to complex for little old me !!

I was just thinking about this, and decided to suggest it today....smart minds ;) Actually I was thinking about buying the newer WOW theme and trying my best to integrate SWTOR images, to replace the WOW ones.

PED- Please consider my next suggestion. SWTOR guilds are going to allow multiple characters, half serving the Republic and the other serving the Empire. So, that being said one guild may want a dark, sinister theme, and the other a more light one for the Republic. Yet, I feel since the MMO allows you to play any character regardless of the faction/allegiance, the theme should allow for both. To do this, I think it would be AWESOME to have the theme rotate backgrounds/headers on page refreshes. In other words, I visit the home or forums index, and it rotates to a set of backgrounds loaded in a specific folder. You did something like this with your COD Black Ops theme, where the header image rotated on page refreshes.

This also benefits the guild that may want to to be a specific character as well. Lets say my guild is based upon SITH warriors only. I can load 4 Sith background/headers and keep my site true to the guild.

Another feature I would like to see, is the character class block you included in the latest WOW theme for recruiting. This is unique too MMO's like WoW and SWTOR.

Thanks again for your hard work...I have been a faithful customer for years now and always use your themes. Top class artwork and coding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes those are both great ideas that i will work with, I do understand it has to apeal to both sides and the recruiting class block is a nice finishing touch as well

The BF3 theme is very popular, I know ive only just made the MW3 theme so its still early days on the sales front

I like the MW3 theme layout because its fluid, but I prefere the BF3 fixed layout.

I will have a play around

I could also only find 1 Fansite kit which im going to have a look though to see if I can use anything, thanks for the heads up BTW

Kind off, I have the hardest part done, which is the template layout structure and the background styles done.. I need to do some attention to detail now... ive not decided on a menu either

im thinking a mega style menu as there will be lots of potential links to be had

I reckon its 70% done

Ive had a bit of a nightmare getting my localhost upgraded to PHP5.3 as well too me in total about a week to sort out
