Something really weird happened tonight. I have been working on a nuke evolution extreme site, with the Battlefield 3 theme on it purchased from here. Its been working sweet as a nut, its not open to public at the moment but 3 of us have been working on it for the last month or so with 0 issues, no errors in the logs etc.

I changed the option on TOS to be active and to show to people that login i.e. admins and registered users. Carried on with what I was doing no problem. I came to login today and everytime i tried it would take me to the TOS page, I would select yes to accept then it would just say incorrect login, i tried everything and couldn`t login with my website account. I went to admin.php and logged in with the god admin user no worries, it took me to the admin page, from here I went into my account and changed the password, it said it did this and then i went to front page and tried to login it still wouldn`t work, even though I had just updated to a new password.

I found the TOS option and set it to off, then tried to login again no joy, so i deleted the cookies, tried again no joy. Next step was to try a password reset, the emails worked, and when the key was sent back to me I inputted it and still it was telling me it was an incorrect login.

I`ve taken the drastic step of restoring my site and sql, before i activated the TOS and everything is great again, only trouble is I`ve lost a weeks work.

Does anyone know of any issues when activating terms of service ?

I cant see it being the TOS

If you have made a new site, turn the TOS on now and see if it happens again

I cant really do that because I launched the site, advertised it and have had people sign up to the site, if I switch it on it won`t fix the problem I have now, and it`s likely to just not let me login again and I`ll have to restore and lose the new sign ups I have. I`ve got desperate now so have a thread running in paid support because of the problems I`ve got
