Are there any mods out there that lets users upload things at the add a download page? So instead of using a link, make it either a link, or a upload a file.

Our downloads module is based on the Enhanced Downloads v2.1

its a totally diffrent downloads module than what will come pre installed with 7.9

U should be able to install it if you are okay with your SQL database tables and which does what, because you will have to uninstall your old downloads module and then re install with this one !

have a search around for it EDL 2.1 if you cant find it i can add it to the site since the author has long closed his site (2 years now)

Ok, So I've installed everything, but the old downloads module is still active. How can I turn off the old one, and enable EDL 2.1??? I'm really stuck now :(

EDIT: Having another look at the downloads page where I got it, there are around 7 of them. Should I put them all up?

Go to your admin section/ modules and deactivate the old d/l system. Once deactivated goto the same section page and then activate the new ED d/l module Wink

It's the right hand side/ middle symbol that look like cogs ( red block means deactivated Wink )
