Hey all, didn't know where else to put this.

I'm fairly well versed with phpnuke (I'm running RavenNuke) and I'm trying to get the Points Shop up and running. I have Nuke Points installed and working, displaying in forum posts, all that is fine. When I finished installing the Shop into the forums, when I go to the admin panel to edit the shop I cant do anything with the Special shop at all, nothing.

It was included with the zip file of many phpBB hacks, the one I used specifically is: ShopModWithPHPNukePointSystem. Should I try using the 2.6 version instead, or is this shop just no longer compatible?

Its probably not compatible,

I recall when I set up Clan Themes some 4 years ago I wanted a forums point system that tied into the same points system that PHPNuke used so users could spend there points via the forums ect ect

I found that the forums points is totally separate to that of the PHPNuke points system so it was a right pain.

I did install a forums points shop but cant remember which one, it worked, but like I said it was on a separate points system.

Have you tried turning error reporting on in your sites config.php so you can see what error if any it is throwing out ?

It may be using the old $dbi database layer and need to be converted to $db.

Very well could be. I know allot of those hacks are old and a bit out dated. Also, allot of them are not 100% accurate on where to put them. I remember installing the point system on my old site and it was a pain. I been considering to adding a point system into the Downloads 1.2.1 when ever I get around to starting it. I am a bit stuck at the moment on a fix for a re-occurring problem with in it which just surfaced in the 1.2 but was fine in the 1.0b4 version.

Hey, just updating with a few questions I noticed up top here.

I am very interesting in getting this shop working, I'm not getting any blatant errors from the shop after I install it, users can purchase items and I can create items, the only problem is I cant do any of the "Special" shop effects, which is where I was planning on using the shop for anyways.

Examples are the text glow, custom titles, permissions, things like that. All of the drop down options in the administration menu are just blank, cant do anything with it.

Regular items are fine though, so it only half works.
