This is a really stupid question but - If i bought the Ravens nuke version of the BF3 theme is it gonna cost me another £35 - only asking as getting fed up with xtreme - Its great and all that but have been messing with raven and phbb3 on a test site and prefer the forums on phbb3 - i guess u cant have phbb3 forums on nuke extreme ?

however are you integrating the PHPBB3 forums with the site database, as in a module... if you are then the BF3 theme wont come with matching forums, ive only provided matching forums for the PHPBB2 forums

TBH there is no point using PHPBB3 forums with PHPNuke as the BBToNuke (PHPBB2) forums and the PHPNuke Admin is better than PHPBB3 in my opinion..

If you can integrate it with Ravens then you can probably integrate it with Xtreme, have a play on a test site or sub domain first Love

Yeah ive integrated it on ravens on a test site as there was a phpBB3 Bridge for it , there is an option in my control panel to install phbb3 or 2 on to our website - i dont understand if i install it would it convert the forums we have - or rather add them to the phbb3 or 2 as it did with ravens ?

what i did on testsite was - install ravens - create forums - then uploaded and installed phpBB3 Bridge - then had to update to 3.0.8 - all the forums i created in ravens are in the new one

so if i installed phbb3 or 2 on to proper site would it do the same ? - guess i will try 2morrow - delete on another testsite - unless anyone has a quick answer? Angel

The bridge will not pull anything over, well it shouldn't. Personally I don't like bridges nor like telling people to use them but to each there own. Once you switch over to phpbb3 using the bridge, you may run into issues with updates, I am using the word liberal for you may not. Overall, your downgrading your site by doing that.

well i just installed it without using a bridge its converted all forums/ posts etc - still have the normal forums too - guess i just make those invisible once ive modded the new one ? Angel
