quick question my clan server is on www.rageoholic.co.uk and since i started it in Feb last year it had 624520 hits but with the new BF3 theme i moved us to a .co domain so my question is can it be possible to set those hits on the new site ??? because its still the rageoholic site

Where are you reading the hits from (module) ?

There is a few places in the database that store stats so i need to know where your reading the info from so i can look up the right DB table for you..

Your going to have to get into PHPMYADMIN and insert a new BD table put its really not hard, i can explain or do a quick screencast Embarrased

i think its in a module called statistics which gives you a block that displays the hits lols i just did not want to lose over half a million hits in a year as i thought that was good going lols

Well, If your transferring the database, then you should be all set. If your wondering if there is a way to extract it from the database, then the answer is no. Well it is possible, but its also is not. It pulls from many tables and only pulls a little info from each table which these tables are for everything from your links categories table to your stories table. I believe it self only has one table and that is nuke_stats_hour which is only part of the total stats. I know of 7 tables it pulls from but I bet there are more. I just have not dug into it enough. I hope this answers the question a little bit.

The reason i said yes is if you pull your DB from your old site and put it on the new one, I say no because pulling all that info and trying to keep it with out bringing all the info over will cause errors and be a real pain.

What you could have done is simply pointed the new domain to your existing hosting account and then asked your hosting provider to simply re-assign the master domain for your hosting account to your new domain. Any host worth a damn would have done that for you and it takes literally 10 seconds (log into WHM, select 'List Accounts', scroll down to find the account, click edit, type in the new domain name - job done!).
All you would have had to do then is alter a couple of places in the database where the site ULR is store, like in nuke_config and nuke_bbconfig and you would have been ready to rock and roll.

For reference, anyone 'moving' hosting accounts; if your old and new hosting account providers use cPanel, ask your new host to 'import' your old account - it takes seconds to do and a few minutes for the files to transfer. Doing this means you get to keep all your old account data including mailboxes, mail filters and anything else you set up on the account, including of course your files, databases etc.
