look in the root of your sites directory for the footer.php

As for the CT banner that is just an advertisment banner that will go away if you add a banner via the advertisment module

if you dont want ANY image there be it your own ad or CT ad open the yoursite.com/themes/Modern_Gamer_Xtreme/theme.php and go to (CTRL+G) line 432

THe line of code to remove or comment out is

Code:
$ads = ads(2); // << the banner placement is set to position 2

You could just change it to

Code:
//$ads = ads(2); // << the banner placement is set to position 2

Your not really supposed to remove the PHPNuke copyright without a licence from PHPNuke... but that's your choice some people get arsy... personally I couldn't care less...if you do remove it you should consider a link back to the developers site or credit is given somewhere to show respect for there free work.

Me personally I am the opposite of Ped on the feeling of removal of credits, but I do agree with if you do remove them from the bottom then you have to give credit to who did it without taking credit for it. When it comes to blocks and module I have the same feelings. I am one to leave all credits in and take no credit for anything I did not do.

Well i kinda get tired of having everyone's names all over a site, lets say you use 3 blocks from Clan Themes, thats 3 links back to us... then you use 3 blocks from Killigans site, thats another 3 links back to Xtreme, then you use 2 blocks from Freds site, you have 2 links back to his site...you get the jist

Then you go to the modules, each module has credits i dont mind that TBH.. its the blocks that annoy me personally.

Who was it that made that "credits" module... I think it was Ravens Nuke actually, a module with everyone's "links" in it so you could just point them to that page.. dam what was it called, ah thats going to bug me now... let me search the computer ill find it

I understand that, but what bugs me is the credits removed, then they take credit for the work. Like I said, if they give credit for the work, then I am fine, but I have came upon many site running my stuff and they have there credits in there instead of mine. When I see that, I usually register on there site and make a public post saying its not nice to take credit for others work, 99.9% of the time i hear, it wasn't me, or "I did not know i shouldn't do that, though there are messages on all the pages saying not to.

I agree. It is disrespectful to the developers to remove the links and credit from the footers. If someone doesn't want footer credits, than pay someone to do the work for you or do it your self.

Yeah replacing someone's credits is pure fraud and I agree

It don't matter where the credits are so long as they can be seen/found

I'm trying to remember the name of this dam module im sure it was called "Credits" or something similar, you could bascily add as many developers names, links , comments and what they had done to improve your site in a list format .... it was a glorified copyrights page for everything, under one page, good idea really...

I knew it was called "Credits"

that was drivin me mad !!

I will have it on my PC somewhere but Nuke SEO has a working copy >> http://nukeseo.com/modules.php?name=Credits

It was made by Telli and is a pid for script hence why I couldn't find it because I keep my "Paid" scipts separate from free scripts >> http://www.codezwiz.com/scripts-viewfile-64-czsite-credits-v2-universal.html
