Shop Purchases:
Call of Duty Black Ops Evo Theme · Medal of Honor Evo Theme · Clan Roster v1.7 Php Nuke Module · Clan Roster 2.0 · Battlefield 3 Video Splashscreen

Ok until a littke over two years ago I had no clue or idea how to make a website let along use nuke PHP. I started a Pc gamer clan about 8 years ago and I was always lucky to have someone else at the website helm. But on one night I find I no longer have a web design or admin but that the site is broken as well? So I dive in. I am still a newbie and may always stay on the newbie relm? Old dogs sometime just cant be made to show how to turn over? My main reason for posting today is I see all these different types of PHP Nuke ? I am currently on Evo. Can anyone please assist me on the differences between them? What Nuke would be the best to use? Im finding limited evo themes or should I say ones that I like ?

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

there are 2 main one's today. Nuke Evolution its self is some what dead, someone else took over the project which I am unsure who it was, but I have not heard any updates on that for a long time.

The main ones used today is Evo Extreme and RavenNuke. For a clan, we suggest Evo Extreme since you are more familiar with Evo. Evo Extreme last I knew really does not have much in the line of "core" changes from Evo. But I think they are starting to do those changes with the newer versions of Evo Extreme.

As for Evo themes, I agree that they are getting harder and harder to find. I am running a Evo 2.0.7 site but because of the modifications I have done to the site, I need to run Evo Extreme 2.0 themes which makes it easier to find themes. and thankfully those are still around.

Overall, being a Evo fan my self and liking the project and the work that has been coming from there I recommend Evo. RavenNuke is great but I find it to be more of a professional business like CMS where Evo is more for clans. And if your going to start fresh, then Evo extreme would be my choice, but if you were to upgrade, Evo would be also easier to upgrade to.

Nuke is still one of the most versitle Content Management Systems available today. It's simplicity and straight forwardness is unsurpassed. I'm sure when you delve deeper into this program you will quickly pick it up and to top things off, there is a huge support group available.

I thought it was taken over by Evop german or something like that where Evo Extreme did there own thing and came out with the variation of Evo which is known as Extreme.

Evo Germany went on there own mission/distro they released v2.10 (or v2.1.0 stupid numbers) but they never took over the whole Evo project... I think it was more of an ego factor because the Nuke Evolution v2.07 team could not find a fix in there v2.10 so it was reverted to v2.07... Then about 8 - 12 months ago the Xtreme team took over the hosting and the Nuke Evolution project.

I actually think there is no point continuing with the standard Nuke Evolution v2.07 the whole site should just be redirected to the Xtreme site, saying that there will be some good useful information in the forums no doubt.

It's really sad how the Php Nuke community appears to breed arrogance and childishness. Since the days of Php Nuke 3.1, I have observed thousands of childish squabbles between these people and over the silliest of things. Some have even dared to demand I cease all contact or association with others, OR ELSE... No one here is THAT valuable. It's pretty pathetic in my book...

But, I guess I should be thankful the CMS has survived these little 4 year old temper tantrums.

but that would never happen. to many preferences and opinions on direction they should go will conflict to much and cause wars. Oh well, at least we can narrow it down to 2 good versions and a large handful of bad to not so good distro's.
