I have never tryed to use the PHP nuke product. If I was to try it out, is there away that someone can help me with it if I have issues with the program. i will even pay someone to help me with it as long as i can afford the price of the helper. Also, What version of PHP is the best to use. Please get back with me as soon as you can, thanks james

There are a few threads on CT about which is the best version to use

DO NOT USE Standard PHPNuke that some hosts can auto install for you, its from like 2007 and is crap !

We recommend either Ravens Nuke >> http://ravenphpscripts.com/

Or Evo Xtreme >> http://www.evolution-xtreme.com/

Xtreme is prominently used for clan sites these days, but with a bit of know how could be used for anything TBH Ravens is more commonly used for tech or business sites but again can be used for clan sites with a few added modules and blocks.

Try them both see which you prefer.

I agree with Ped. There are a number of php nuke cms's out there and if you don't pay attention they can easily be confused. RN is a good version to learn on, it's design is simple, coding is fairly straight forward and there's not a lot of code kinks to worry about. It's also supported very well and most standard themes wiill work on it.

Evolution Xtrmeme is solid as well. However, themes generally have to have the code altered a little to work with it. Xtreme has a good support base and people more than willing to help you as well.

Ped did hit on something of importance, which is the direction or use the use of the CMS's. Use RN (RavenNuke) if you are going to develop a business site. Use Evo Xtreme if you are going to create a gaming site. They are geared accordingly to those areas.

I also did 2 video tutorials that are in the tutorial section of this site that show how to install Evo Extreme, it is almost the same with RN with a few exceptions.

I also provide support using a program called AMMYY which allows me to remote access to your PC and you can watch me do support. I don't charge for the help, I do everything free and if you donate to my clan, well that is up to you, and I think I built up a good reputation among the hundreds of clans I helped build and configure there site. If you have TeamSpeak I cal also talk to you on our host.

But most of your issues once going would be best posted in forums fo if anyone else has those issues, they can find them and know how to fix them.
