I am extremely new at this and in need of serious help

I am trying to install the NukeTreasury Donate-O-Meter block and im not sure how to extract the treasury.sql into the mysql db.

basically i need step by step help with this.

Yes this is a common problem for new users with nuke, when i first started i was like dam i cant install that !

and i was always looking for modules that had auto installers ! lol

you need to log into your phpmyadmin (will probably acsessable via your hosts control panel or cpanel)

select your database then at the top there is the sql tab cut and past the new tresuary.sql and hit go

please, please please make a back up first as you should do for every new edit to your site or db

Hi guys,

I need some help with this too.

I have uploaded everything and installed the SQL into My PHP Admin and i have also edited the Config file so it should work - when i click on the treasury tab in the admin panel it returns this:

NukeTreasury FATAL ERROR: Unable to connect to SQL database. Please check your settings in modules/Donations/config.php

NukeTreasury FATAL ERROR: Unable to connect to SQL database. Please check your settings in modules/Donations/config.inc.php

I have removed this and tried reinstalling and tried several different login names and also made several new DBs too but it still refuses to work for me?

Can anyone help? Retard

Install it in your nuke database, then set the same settings in the config.php as your nuke config.php. Had this problem a few years ago.

This is what the error returns:

And this is line 32 in the donations config:

Right i have been in touch with my hosts and told them the exact info as above and they came back with this response:

Hi Robert,

Disable persisent links in your configuration file.
Our servers do not allow persistent links as they keep MySQL connections open, which can cause problems if the script does not end the process.
