I'm interested in buying this theme. But when I went thru the process to purchase it this was asked!

I don't run any nuke products, so I started to think can I even use this product? Basically all I want to do is install this theme in my domain server and run it. Can I do this with this product? Will I need anything else before hand? The forums come with it right?

If i wanted to use a different version forums such as VB can this be done?

These themes are designed to be used with phpnuke distro's.

Basically, depending on what type of website your looking at running is what theme you would have to match it up to. Phpnuke is not just forums, its the full website that also includes the forums. The only 2 that is recommended running is RavenNuke and Nuke Evolution. So if your going with a gaming clan, then Evo is the way to go, but for a business/professional site/forums without all the bells and whistles, then RavenNuke is the way to go.

As for running VB over the forums that come with nuke, I am almost positive you cant. Someone would have to custom theme a theme for VB that could be similar, but I am guessing that would cost allot of $$ to do.

VB I do not believe ever was bridged with Nuke nor I doubt it will be, well for the time being. If your looking for like a straight HTML templet/theme to build a basic site from, these themes are not what your looking for, these are for the Contact Management System, (CMS), Nuke.

I hope this helps a little. If your looking at making a website and want to use one of these themes, then as I mentioned above, Evo/RavenNuke is the way to go and if your going for a gaming clan, Evo Extreme is what you want. Links can be provided for you if this is a possible root for you to take.

also whats the difference between just evo and evo extreme? I really like one of the themes in evo

Evo 2.0.7 which is also known as basic Evo is feature enriched over CMS like Ravennuke and PhpNuke, but when it comes to Evo Extreme, basically its Evo 2.0.7 with a few fixes and more mod's, and modules added. But the core scripts are still the same.

So far, what I been hearing from a few, that they recommend going with Evo Extreme 2.0 over there latest which seems to have a few bugs. What are they, I don't know. My site for my clan is a Nuke Evo 2.0.7 site that I have modified over the past 3 years to be just as featured enriched that Extreme is, but I have done a few more flares to make it better.

Most of my scripts I create and edit are for Evo only. Like right now I am about to release a new version of the downloads module which is compatible with all Evo sites, which also includes Evo Extreme sites. My clan has been running Evo for about 4+ years and there is nothing bad I can say about it. If I have not done so much work into my site I would upgrade to Extreme, but since my site is pretty much the same thing now, I recommend going with that.

Everything on my site is compatible with Evo. Some is custom made, but others is free downloads. I only have 2 paid scripts on my site. If you see anything you like I can tell you where I got it.
