Downloaded it here and all feeds work except the News feed where I get an error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/theimun1/public_html/backend.php on line 98

This error is in this code somewhere I believe

}
$new_text = ereg_replace(" +", " ", $new_text);
## remove double spaces.
return $new_text;
}
?>
