After a few sites that use to beta test for me shut down, i need you help. If you meet the few minimum requirements and want to test for me, mostly just 1 module, that would be great.

Requirements:

Must have a Nuke Evo 2.0.7 OR Extreme All version website
Must have downloads in your downloads section
Must speak English, (learned from my mistake in the past)
Must have a active site

Basically. thanks to the help of SnYpE, we were able to get out a new release of the downloads module. This release is by far the most intense version of the downloads to ever be released for nuke.

New features include the post controls, Tabbed feature, Styles controls for the tabs, Cleaned up Downloads ACP, Category color controls, Search fix applied, Featured block for both fix width and full width websites, and much more fixes and additions. It's to the point where we are basically out of idea's.

If you interested, I just need a couple of sites, so if you can, reply to this thread and we will go from there. If you like to see more, you can visit http://www.headshotdomain.net and check out our downloads section, you will see some of the new features.

Well, You will be able to put it on both, the files are going to be the same, it will work on all versions of evo the same way, you will just need to use the SQL file that pertains to what version of the downloads module you are running, meaning the stack up to my release of downloads Version 1.0b4. If you are running the Evo downloads module that they released, unfortunately I don't have any scripts nor will make any that will port that to this new release. I will contact you with in a day or 2 with the files. we are still working on the blocks and gotta pack and do the SQL updates.

I only have a handfull of downloads I've added in this version, so nothing major is lost. On the older version, I'll leave alone.

I might of came off a little wrong. If your using the stock downloads module that comes with the CMS then your all set. They released a encrypted version last year and a few weeks ago released the files publicly. If your running that version which was encrypted, then this would need the DB wiped and a fresh install would be needed. Otherwise then your all set and everything you have already done will still be there an un-touched, this will just add the new features.

Here is a video I did a few days ago of the new downloads, there are some new features and has some fixes to go through so they are not mentioned in here. I did not also go over all the features of the module for there are just to many.

Well as long as you aint using xtreme's encoded downloads module you should be good to go with the beta testing.

Also just like to add that dread has put a lot of hard work into this to make it what it is today and it has been fun helping out with this module and i hope you all like it as much as i do Pint

The beta has been released. If your still interested, please let me know. It would have been released this morning by SnYpE gave me a new idea and took something he did and built it into the system and built the controls into the downloads ACP for it..

Here is a new video of the module and me going over most of the new stuff added between all the versions. I don't go over everything because 90% of them are self explanatory and or have been in older releases, just was removed in the version that came with Evo Extreme.
