Post Fading Block Posted: Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:42 am

Hi,

I searched the entire "blocks" section of the forum and could not find a solution to my problem with the "fading block". I downloaded the fade block from here (ozbutcher) and installed it according to the instructions. I can get the block to show on the site, but it does not fade nor does the alt comments show up when the mouse is scrolled over the image.

I tried it with just the exact original, and then tried it using clan themes link to us info. I could get the CT link image to show, but again no fade nor any alt text when mouse was moved over hyperlink.

I am using Ravennuke and Internet Ex 8 and Firefox as browsers.

I was hoping to use this as a way to post "link us" data from sites I would like to share on my site.

Yes I believe so.

- Open the blocks folder and upload the block-Fading.php in your php-nuke "blocks" folder.
- Upload fading.js files in your php-nuke "blocks" folder.
- Use admin to create the block.

That is how installed it. No fade, nor any alt text highligh. Just the block with the image shows.

Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Bad Company 2 Vietnam Xtreme Theme

Does it work in IE only ?

I remember such a script that only worked in IE

The whole script/block should need updating with a JQuery fade script

Thanks m8! I googled and found another one but it still has the same issues, no fading and no mouseover effects. If you can get those 2 things to work, I would love to incorporte into our site.

Have a happy new year.

Ravennuke V2.4

You know I was so pleased to see the images, and the mouse over effects, I failed to notice the fading.
