I have been trying now to get a file attachment mod working for a bunch of different vrs. of phpnuke with no luck. Can anyone help me? I can a company tell me it would take 11 hours to "update my site and install the file attachment mod" From whatr I can tell the problem is between the phpnuke and the phpbb it just flat out will not install. Am I going to need someone that can write php? is there a pre-moded vrs of nuke that has file attachment for the boards?

Thanks for any help.

I can tell you that Nuke-Evolution (http:www.nuke-evolution.com) does have the attachment mod in it stock. There may be others as well.

File attachment is great for an intranet usage of nuke, but I would think twice about it for an internet application unless you have some hella security and scanning going on.

I think the current version released for BBToNuke (nuke forums) is only supported up to phpbb 2.0.18

Like clan themes has the most recent phpbb 2.0.23 ive also tried to install the old attachment mod here but it wouldn't work either..

So i think this mod id in great need of a look at/upgrade !

I have seen a few sites that have said they are going to do it but it will be a big task as its such a big add on/mod

Posted something at phpbb.com about trying to replace only the relevent files for the upgrade on the forums so that a better nuke forum upgrade can be made. God knows when I will get a constructive reply though. As soon as I can get something I can work with, I will give an update here. Hopefully it will be rather painless once I get everything together an compose them into something someone can use.
