Post Block image probs Posted: Sat Oct 23, 2010 11:27 am

hello peeps

i am having a little trouble with a few things on my web, im running phpnuke standard.

2 blocks i would like some help on are
"clanbasepackage" & "Forum_CenterBlock"
the problem i am having are the images, im guessing its something i am doing wrong, but it would help if they told you where to put the files after uploading, instead of saying "Simply upload all files to there relevant directory" this dont help noobs like me.

so i am having trouble finding out where the image files go. also would this be the reason why the images are not showing on the main page?

to see what i mean please visit www.r6gming.com

thanks

Fatty

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

http://www.clanthemes.com/tutorials-view-154-using-ftp.html

That's a video tutorial where I go over the basics of FTP. Also the URL www.r6gming.com is coming up as a dud.

well, in that tutorial, I go over file structure where you are saying your confused on. Also, if you knew about FTP, you would not be having this issue for I go over how to upload, keeping the file structure, quick and simple.

Just looking at your site, I see you have it in a sub folder rather in the root. Probably though it was right to create a folder in the public_html named forums and upload the site to that, where in actuality, it would have been best to upload everything right into the public_html, (AKA Root).

As for telling you where the images would go. I have no idea, you have to follow the folder structure, but since you set your site up in a sub folder, you must now PRETEND that your "forums" folder found in the public_html is your public_html/root. Treat that first "forums" folder as the public_html and follow how the block or what ever your trying to load has you upload the images.

World of Warcraft Splash Screen · WOW Wrath Of The Lich King Theme · Modern Gamer Evo Multi Theme  · Call of Duty: Black Ops Age Gate Splash Screen

I may be talking nonsense here but if its the images here http://www.r6gaming.com/forum/modules.php?name=Clan_Wars right click on them and select properties. It will tell you the path. If you have done it correct, i had a problem like this once, turned out to be a .htaccess file i was told to remove. Like i said i may be wrong but worth a thought? ^^

well, if you right click on those images, they are being pointed to a different site and not your site to have those images.
