Can someone explain to me how to make a good installer of a sql file i have. I keep getting errors at the same point everytime i try to install a db i have as a back up of a project site of mine. Its a little over 6 megs and i keep getting errors with this "DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1" and atthe nuke_cities part os the install. If i could pass along the sql could someone look it over for me ? Or give me some standards to go by so i can eliminate these errors.

The other major issue is compatibility. I get this error and cannot get past it at all.

You have an error in your SQL syntax.  Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,

OK, i think i got it. Its the way i was exporting the sql i guess so i made these adjustments when exporting the sql. I disabled foreign keys ( timestamp errors ) Made it compatible with MySQL 4x and made it use delayed inserts. Seemed to work fine. Maybe this will help someone else going from and older version to a newer version of MySQL. Devil
