I want to create a module where I can state what is expected of a clan member while on the servers & forums. Like the Server Rules module where I can go in & add & edit & tell a little history of the clan.

In your Doc Module you should have "About Us" This ca be edited in the ACP

This is an example of what you can add in this text file. You can add anything you like, just like a normal HTML document. Put in links, breaking spaces, tables, etc. Don't worry about quotes or semi-colons. Just type what you want, save it, upload it, and you have your custom about us page. Erase all this info, and type in whatever you want. Use double BR tags like below, for spacing in paragraphs.

You can find this file located under modules/Docs.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions about these Docs, please use our Feedback Form.

I have enabled the module but do not see where to edit it in the ACP.

It works here:

http://www.ctuclan.org/modules.php?name=Code_of_Conduct&file=about

But not the other. Also, how do I get rid of the about us, privacy, etc down at the bottom of the page?

It looks as if you renamed the module to Code Of Conduct ?

Why would you want to get rid of the "About Us" you just created it ?
Also leaving the statements protects you and the users of your site. Not sure why you would want to remove that ?

Also, if you have the Member Applicatios module uploaded (standard Evo Xtreme) you can use it in the same manner.

As far as CoC's go for members I have personally been using forums that are only viewable by the clan group. I have also used the FAQ section. I suppose this type of module would be as easy to create as the Server Rules module. If I have some spare time later this week I will look into it. I really don't mind sharing anything that I work on. In fact if anybody visits my website and comes across something they would like to have, just ask.

I also don't mind firing up webhosting complete with Evo Extreme, complete turnkey system for a person, for a pretty fair price. If I am stepping on any toes there Floppy please let me know, I don't want to cut in on your turf or anything.

Please PM me if you have any ideas for either of the modules you are looking for. I don't really read an entire forum, so some of your ideas if you had any that may have been posted on this forum may have simply slipped right by me unnoticed.

Hmm, I didn't consider the FAQ section, but that indeed is a great place to use.

Yes I just download the doc folder to my desktop & renamed it & uploaded it. This is what I am looking to do:

http://www.clanbones.com/modules.php?name=Code_Of_Conduct

Just something simple. I tired the doing it in Members Application but the apply now button is there:

http://www.ctuclan.org/modules.php?name=Member_Application&appno=2

I do not have a lot of coding experience. If there is something simple I could, please let me know. Any tutorials would be great.
