What would I need to include in module code to remove the right hand column?

???, I am a little lost. What CMS are you running? I know in evo its not coded into the module, it's a option is the modules ACP where you can activate, deactivate the module, there is a option to what blocks are shown, eg. (Right, Left, Both).

All modules are made for both fixed width themes and 100% width themes, its the contents within the modules that might need the extra space !

Let us know what version of PHPNuke you are using, as they are different and we can show you how to turn off the right blocks.

To turn of the left blocks involves theme modification to the theme.php

For me, it was just getting vWars content to fit within the fixed width theme without tossing the right hand blocks down below the vwars content.

For that, it was just a simple edit of the _header.php file in the vWars module, and it took care of that. Because of that, I ended up looking into how to remove the left side blocks, and accomplished that as well.

Open your themes/THEMENAME/ theme.php and search for:
Code:
   blocks(left);
Replace with
Code:
     if($name!=vwar)
    {
   blocks(left);
    }

Now scroll a bit up and look for: function themeheader() {

Here you will see sumfn like
Code:
global $user, $cookie, $prefix, $sitekey;

add $name to the list so it will look like this:
Code:
global $user, $cookie, $prefix, $sitekey, $name;

He is using PNC

All he wants to know is how to remove the Left + Right Blocks from modules

In his case he wanted a no Left + Right blocks when user went to his vWar module

Normally to turn right blocks off the code is found in the index.php of the specific module that you want the blocks removing.

vWar has its own header.php as it is a plug-in so that's where the right blocks were turned off, and then to turn the Left blocks of it was done within the theme.php of his theme.

There is a few tutorials on CT about how to remove Left + Right blocks, but it would have taken him a while to do the vWar one.

Guess that answers your question Embarrased

lol I doubt

I know it does everything you want it to do and its free, and I even started my clan site 4 some years ago and used PNC 2.1 because it was everything I needed and I was new to PHPNuke and websites...

After my site got hacked 3 times my clan mates refused to register again because the entire site had been compromised.

For me now security comes number 1

Before I took over our site, we were getting hacked once or twice a month. It really is bad. But it took me all of 15 mins to tighten security, and we haven't had a single problem since.
