Im running PNC 4.5

I downloaded and uploaded the theme just like the installation said to do.

Then I get this error.

It wont work with PNC, it would need converting

It was made for Ravens Nuke

Have a look in the PNC download files and see if there is an included theme conversion instructions readme... sometimes the developers make one

Then the description for the theme is misleading. It says it works on PNC 4+.

I believe it says it will work on "versions of PNC 4+.". Not all CMS are the same, the ad's error you are seeing is because PNC does not run the standard type of ad's that RN and Nuke runs. You will find allot of things will need to be changed with PNC so it seems. Personally, I have never worked with it and refuse to for it has vWar on it, and though they claimed to patch it, the dev's of vWar has all stated that it was shotty coding and it needed a complete overhaul which they just did, its in a closed beta now.

But as it is being misleading, I don't see it for it clearly states that it works on versions of 4.+, does not state all of them. The edit I am guessing is a very simple one and it would be just a matter of removing the ads() from the "theme.php".

Ped, correct me if I am wrong for I am not a themer, but if you open up the file;

public_html/pnc/themes/CT_RN_BLACK/theme.php

and go to line 64, you will see the ads() line. Put a // in front of it. I believe its something like ads()0; or something like that. I think there are 2 times it will show up, and just put the // in front of it so it would look like //ads();

Im going to try raven scripts. Is there any other modules like VWAR that do the samething basically?

My bad it will work on PNC 4.5, just open the theme.php and comment out the

As for vWar, the email I got from one of the head Dev's of it told me is that they will release the script when they finish with the new site and forums. They figured that with a new script, they should do everything new. So till then, there is nothing. As the Dev's and I and I know many others will agree on, just be careful with that script for it is a VERY unsecured script to be using and it's the main thing I do not like about PNC, though been assured by one of the PNC staff that it is all kosher, I and many others been burned to much to trust it in it's current release.
