hello friends..
i have downloaded and install a new "Oops Theme"
and
i wanted to change my bqackground so i chose a picture of my liking even madesure it would be the same size as the previous(default)
so i uploaded it instead of the default one.. changed names and all..
Refreshed my site.. and nothing

Same default background was on site.

What could be the problem?

The theme.php is not reading the correct place to pull the file form! (or header.php)

nothing in theme.php

its weird ive replaced the picture and it still loads up the old one..

the last line is the only thing i have found related to bg picture.. do you see anything?

themes/$ThemeSel/images/logo.png = banner
<td class="bgcontent" valign="top"> = is not the background image

Ok please PM me you theme.php file and i will take a look i need the name of the file that is the new background image for example bg.gif or what ever!

dude it has changed.. i think it took about an hour lol i have changed one more thing see how it goes and ill get back to you on that keep checking this thread

OK i think that's part to do with you host you host is a bit crappy to say the least and likes to only update its file system every hour or so!

You also have to keep in mind that some theme designers use "classes and ID's" and add the images through CSS.
Also have to keep in mind with some versions of nuke like evo you have to clear the cache sometimes before you see any changes, You may also have to clear your browsers cache.

Also i dont think it could be a host problem but saying that i aint a 100% sure Angel

it is a host problem.. cuz i run that nuke from my comp ))

Make sure you clear your browsers cache, your web browser will be storing the old info... to update it you have to clear its cache

I was getting ready to mention that Ped, but since you mentioned it, I will however state that also doing Hard refreshes (usually Ctrl + F5) will help load the page, if you just updated.

but for the most part, make sure you clear your browser's cache.
