Hi we have an issue with a few of our members spamming our forum , i have tried using the Karma you get with phpnuke 8.1 but it doesnt work they can still post, so i would like to no if anyone knows of a way to make it so members who spam can be banned from posting in the forum for a specified period of time ,or if there is a way to add admin approval to my forum so an admin needs to approve there post before it will show.
I am running phpnuke 8.1 thanks for your help.

My forum is registered only but some of my members are retards :(
Is there a way to convert my forum thats not to complicated ? my forum version is phpBB 2.0.21.
If this isnt possible could i swapped to some other nuke that has the features i want keeping my registered members?
Sorry for all the questions but i wish i had never used standard nuke, and thanks for your help :)

i can upgrade your site to evo 2.0.7 or xtreme 2.0 witch is good for clans they also have a better system and procedures to stop spammers please reply if intrested

If you download Xtreme v2.0 the instructions are included but as scope says its complex.

You would basicly have to do the following

- Backup your sites files
- Backup your sites Database
- Downgrade yoursite to PHPNuke Standard 7.6
- Possibly upgrade forums to latest version (cant remember if this is required for Evo Upgrade)
- Upgrade to Evo 2.07 Standard
- Upgrade to Xtreme v2.0

Its far to lengthy to make a tutorial, but those are the steps in simple format.

All that would probably take a few hours, say 3-4 depending on how quick you can download your site for a backup and then upload all the files as well, im personally on a terrible internet connection so it takes me a good hour to upload/download anything.

Dam that's bear ass cheap, I would do it for nothing less than £40 personally.

But then again I would rather be messing around with themes than upgrading sites and databases Kiss

That is cheap scope. But charging more when you are popular aint always the way to go alot of us charge our price cause of the hassle they can be and the quality of our services a bit like every day and age in this world. But hats of to you m8 i really would not touch an upgrade for less than £40 either to much can go wrong down the road. Just wait till you get a client that wants all there modules and blocks porting as well lol Pint
