Multi-T3 Multi Gaming Theme

Ello,

I have a small site with limited users and I want my users to be-able upload an image and also display it within the same forum posts at whatever pic dimenision they desire.

Currently using most up to date Raven with T3 Multi theme from clanthemes.

Is this possilbe? I really don't want them to go through the hassle of photobucket or other image sites.

Cheers,
Xav

Ah you will need to do this quick fix

http://www.clanthemes.com/ftopict-6493-raven-v230--v240-fix-for-missing-attachment-forums-files.html

I made the Multi T3 theme before Ravens Nuke, so its easier to make a fix for all themes than to go though all 80+ themes and fix all of them 1 at a time...

OK, that worked and upload mod now working :)

Part 2 of my question....is there a way to force a maximum display width so that large pic files are proportionally reduced so that the width would not exceed 500. I don't want to limit the pics uploaded but I do want ensure that any large images do not impact the look of the forums.

Big thanks for the support,

Cheers,
Xav

I suggest you experiment first by posting a small image and then a 1600 image to see how the attachment mod responds... it should automaticly resize them to 500 ish...

Hi,

When I upload a wallpaper of 1280x1024 it was posted at full resolution and did not resize it so unless I make a change somewhere I'd have to make sure that no-one posts imags wider than 500 rather than it happening auto.

Cheers,
Xav

I think your are on about just posting a image on the forum eg with [img (tags)] and not the attachment mod.

if im right your after this http://www.clanthemes.com/downloaddetails-10-758-easy-resize-posted-images-mod.html

Hi,

It is def the attachment mod that I am after. I want my users to write a forum post and upload a picture directly onto my server via the forums and then display said image in the forum post. Ideally I would want them to position the picture they have just uploaded anywhere within the post as apposed to the bottom of the post, which happens with the attachment mod. I would then want to ensure that the picture is resized proportionally or thumbnialed to ensure max width does not exceed 500px.

ideal example.....

You need to install Noto's link

http://www.clanthemes.com/downloaddetails-10-758-easy-resize-posted-images-mod.html

It will resize ANY posted img link or reference posted on your forums board...

Make sure you make a backup of the files you have to edit when you are ading it.
