Post News article post date Posted: Mon Mar 15, 2010 1:48 pm

hello,

I have a small bug in the news module. The date of the news article is everyday different. when I click an news article in the home page I see the posted date is wrong. even old articles display posted at 15 march 2010 by admin, tommorow it will be posted on 16 march 2010.

The date of the answers/comments works fine and I can see in module archive that the articles are saved in the right month and year.

I tried to change the theme, news module, main.php but it does not fix it.

phpnuke 7.9 patched 3.3

Thanks for any help or idea.

Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Bad Company 2 Vietnam Xtreme Theme

setting the time on your site can be a pain, if im correct the time of your site is set via your server it is hosted on.

The time would be offset in the admin preferences area, have a dig around and see if you can + it a few hours.

I did not understand very well what you mean that's why I will share my code:

mijn.php function

Code:

/*********************************************************/

/* formatting stories                                    */

/*********************************************************/

// Beta 3 code by Quake 08/19/2005

// Written for Nuke-Evolution and Nuke Patched

function formatTimestamp($time) {

    global $datetime, $locale;

    setlocale(LC_TIME, $locale);

    if (!is_numeric($time)) {

        preg_match('/([0-9]{4})-([0-9]{1,2})-([0-9]{1,2}) ([0-9]{1,2}):([0-9]{1,2}):([0-9]{1,2})/', $time, $datetime);

        $time = gmmktime($datetime[4],$datetime[5],$datetime[6],$datetime[2],$datetime[3],$datetime[1]);

    }

    $time -= date("Z");

    $datetime = strftime(_DATESTRING, $time);

    $datetime = ucfirst($datetime);

    return $datetime;

}

language file

Code:
define("_DATESTRING","%d, %m, %Y");
define("_DATESTRING2","%d, %m %Y");
