guys my site was built on ravens nuke but i am not happy with the forums i would like more functionality in that user online where they are user that have visited that day the ability to thank post's and to give members a differant colour instead of just admin and mod

i know you can get blocks and mod for this but is there a ready made forum out ther than i can just upload with all of this on as anything that has to with sql scares me as i have made a few mistakes all ready

Its all mods,
You cant just upload say a smf forum it wil never work.

evo might have some of the mods your after pre installed, but then your have to install evo make your theme compatible and also your have all the crap that comes with evo.

Just install the mods yourself it wont take long to get them installed.

i have tried beleive me i am still new to this i might put a request in and pay to get this done as i know it will be done right but i think ill wait till i buy clan rosta 2 as i know ill struggle to put that on

Problem with paying someone is forum mods are very time consuming.

Its not that there hard you just find a file, find the edit and make a change... re upload make sure it works

What I will say is just do 1 mod at a time and thoroughly test EVERYTHING in your forums before doing another one.

I have in the past added say 10 mods and checked they work, then a week later tried something like the groups and it would be broke ! I would then have to remove all 10 mods because I wouldn't know which one was causing the problem.

Unfortunately mods have a catch 22 effect, look good but if done wrong cause more trouble than there worth.

this is where I like Evo. I didn't have to do all those edits again. It was bad enough the first 3 times I did them. All I had to do was install Evo and it had all the mods already.

where i went wrong was adding the sql in the data base i uploaded it through php myadmin and all looks good Nuke tresuary was the one but as soon as i clicked on the icon in the admin panel i got a raven nuke error message saying my database was not good that my problem i am scared of screwing the sql database up

i would love to do all of the upgrades as thats a acheivement just in php my admin i am not sure about and all the mods want you to upload a sql file Open Mouth
