Hi all,

I have a bit of a dilema at the moment. We used to be a Battlefield 2 clan only and that was fine however now we are going to expend to a Bad Company clan too!

At the moment we have 1 xtreme nuke website (www.bc2smeg.co.uk) our new Bad Company clan and we have 1x E107 website (www.bf2smeg.co.uk) as you can see we have 2 domain names.

i want to see what your suggestions would be to scrapping the old E107 website and moving to the new Evo website for both games.

I not fussed about losing all of our E107 forums and users as they can sign up on the new Evo wesbite again. but..... i was thinking of pointing both domains DNS to the new Evo website and creating 2 groups eg BC2 or BF2 depending on what that user played. That seems ok but when it comes to themes how do i solve that? can i set what theme a specific group has? if they play both games what theme will the get if they are in both groups?

I dont mind users changing thier theme to either BF2 or BC2 whatever they like but just the whole thought process is confusing me! am i opening up a whole new can of worms?

Wouldnt you just make a sub domain on your new xtreme site ? These guys have done it i think http://www.aefighters.co.uk/
think with that you have to register on both sites - or the one you want i guess as in BF2 Or BC2 or both Dont Know

You would have to search for it, although i think it was through the ravennuke site ( http://www.ravenphpscripts.com ) that there is a way to run 2 sites using 1 nuke database. This allows people to have 1 login and they are logged into both sites at the same time. Then you would just link to the other site from the one they are on and they would be logged in already. Maybe somebody here at ClanThemes knows of this and can help you.
