Hi all,

First off! why havent i found this site earlier??? Amazing!!!

My dilema!

I currently administer an E107 CMS clan website for BF2 (bf2smeg.co.uk). Your Bad Company 2 theme has just blown all of that out of the water. E107 was good but has now become dull and boring and under developed.

I want to make a switch but am very confused with all different version of PHP nuke i am seeing, Standard, Ravenuke etc etc.

Please can someone give me some guideance as to where to look. We want to be a clan to offer Bad Company 2 from day one so i want a site to reflect that so it must be compatible with the BC2 theme and take into account forums etc etc. I know its a tall order but does anyone know of any conversion scripts to PHPNuke from E107? I do know of an E107 to PHPBB script, could i do that then import it to PHPBB for PHPNUKE??

Sorry for all the questions and also if i have posted in the wrong location!

Your kind help would de-stress this man!!

Snipe is right, all 3 of those are good and in that post he sends you to I do go over the pro's and con's of each. To me it boils down to what you want in it. or how much work you want to put into it. If your looking for something you can start off loaded with mods already, the Evo Extreme is the way to go. But if your looking for something that you can't spend allot of hours, but have it exactly the way you want it with out possibly having extra mods on it, the RavenNuke is the way to go.

Overall, with out trying both out, its really hard for us to say which is best because it will all be personal opinions. Like Ped and Floppy are RavenNuke, Where I am a Evo guy.I had used RN and I felt it lacked what i wanted in a site and moved over to Evo.

As for conversion scripts. That would be through the individual CMS. Though we provide allot of support for them and carry what I believe is the most tutorials, blocks, modules and themes for them. They would know best if they have a conversion script.

I don't think there is a conversion script... you could always post over at http://ravenphpscripts.com/ for Ravens Nuke and ask nicley to request a conversion kit

OR

Go to http://evolution-xtreme.com/ and ask them for a conversion kit

No point asking http://www.nuke-evolution.com/ because they have stopped developing it... Dont Know

The other alternative would be for me to convert the BC2 theme to E107... Confused

not impossible but you would have to pay for the pleasure of course.

OK.... do you have an estimate?

Trouble is im bored of E107 and really like the look of something new. I see you dont support the Evonuke BC2 them yet, any idea if you will or when??

Thanks for all of your input guys its really apprciated, checking out all the links you sent me so far.

I have managed to get all of our content out of E107 and into SMF, so now looking for a SMF to ravensnuke converter!

Bad Company 2 is a new game so gonna go with a new webby and keep them seperate from our BF2 website/clan.

Now the coice of versions with the BC2 Theme!!

Well I converted the Ravens Nuke version to Nuke Evo last night/ this morning (been up since 2am, daughter ill)

Ill get that version added to the shop later on this afternoon, then ill convert it to Xtreme... so maybe Tue at the latest. Angel
