Hey All,

I was wondering how do I make use of the Groups that are incorperated into Nuke? Aswell as this how does the points system incorporate into the groups? I would like to make it that members have to have a certain amount of points to get into certain modules, or so they have to have a paid membership to get access to exclusive content, like the club for instance ;)

But mainly it's the groups that im not entirely sure on, for instance what sort of groups I need (Names Of) basically a normal setup of groups I suppose Sarcastic Bad HAir Day

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Well ped is the group expert so to speak, but there are tons you can do with them with a little modification. Points have their ranks system and groups can be integrated into that. All I really know is it can be done.

Try some google for now and I will point ped your direction to see if he can help show you whats available out there.

ive used groups and points for well over 2 years now starting from a right noob !

ive taught myself what i know through experience and playing...

It really depends what you are trying to achieve using your groups.. i have found groups an invaluable asset for clans... personally i couldn't have a clan site without groups !

its very easy to lock down modules and ares of your site using groups, you can then send emails to these groups and those groups alone... you can easily control who is in these groups and easily remove them too !

as for integrating points to these groups, ive not really tried to much to be honest... i would try to keep them separate for now..

I know that you can use post counts to join groups, say 100 posts and you get into "A Group" then you can set "A Group" to access certain modules and certain forum ares that normal users cant ...

You really do need to play ! as far as im aware there is no instructions on using the groups in nuke !
