I've tried to install this thing for about an hour or so now to no avail...

I've placed it in the same folder as the mainfile.php I used the GOD profile and went to .com/SB_SQL_installer.php

I installed it....

I deleted the SB_SQL_installer.php

then I went to the site and tried to make it an active block and it's no where to be found....


I don't understand.... I freakin followed the instructions verbatim

Sorry to ask, but thx for your patience,
Did you upload everything to correct directory? Blocks, modules in the correct folders etc? And did the sql tables install correctly when you installed it? Need a little more info. I can try help and talk you through it if i can :)

Yes I installed it directly as it said... and everything else is installed correctly and working lkike a charm...

and yes it says the sql tables were successfully created...

You must be doing something wrong, I can install the shoutbox in 20 seconds, or as long as it takes me to upload the files in fact

I presume your using this download >> http://www.clanthemes.com/downloaddetails-15-204-shout-box-v852.html

1) Upload all of the contents of the public_html folder
2) Upload the file SB_SQL_installer.php from the sql folder
3) point your web browser at yoursite.com/SB_SQL_installer.php follow the screen
4) Done

Remind me what version of PHPNuke you are using, not that it matters really this should work on all versions...

Im guessing something is not right, its a very easy module to install... If you still cant do it, I guess I could jump on your FTP and have a look, send me your FTP details and a login to your GOD admin account for your site.
