Open: root/themes/YOUR-THEME/forums/viewtopic.tpl

Find:
Code:
{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}


move it infront of

Code:
{postrow.POSTER_RANK}<br />{postrow.RANK_IMAGE}


You many have to add in a <br> after the {postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}

Every theme will be different so I cant be exact on how the code will look like,

Example: One of my themes I have

Code:
{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}<br><span class="postdetails">{postrow.POSTER_RANK}<br />{postrow.RANK_IMAGE}</span>


but in another one of my themes I have

Code:
{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}<br>{postrow.POSTER_RANK}<br />{postrow.RANK_IMAGE}<br>


So its going to have to take some thought on your end to figure it out. good luck.
