I'm running a nuke extreme web site ,got a new header would like to have it work right on this site.
Got it to work some what being it is a one piece header.and org was made of a few parts.
Problem is ,is when you have a higher res, and go to the site the header looks to small for the rest of theme,doesnt cover all the way across.
With a normal res, its all fine.

simple answer slice and dice. open it up in photoshop and sice it up you need 3 parts one with the main design (left side ussally) one were it streches ( blank bit of header slighty righ of header were design finishes) and the the right hand side part. if the design is all the way across then you have a problem as it gets complicated. you need to make a slice of the main design just the picture then. then you need to slice a sqare out of each corner of the border that surrounds the graphic, then you need to make a left side, right side, top & bottom slice from were the corner slices stop. Im still new to this but if you wait im sure someone will comfirm this or correct me. Angel

Yea you are some what right scope you need the stretch points unless its a fixed width theme and by the sounds of it yours aint lol.

I have sliced the images for you how i would do it and also put a little mock up of the header coding i wouldnt use it but it will give you something to go by
