Ok guys Making Clan Websites NUKE EVO ISNT FOR YOU. yeh sounds mad. but you can save loads of time by going for nuke evo XTREME lol i no its the same but is it really. lets see.

it has everything there already like teamspeak block, vwars, ect.

All there SQL are there.

All updated secruity.

correction there xtreme is more up to date they have new security and themes work more easyer and load quicker due to some nice moding. plus whats quicker installing nuke evo and then downloading mods and blocks uploading them, and installingg the sql for each of them, or download it all in one package and have all the sql's ready to go!!!

Hell, how about this, Why dint you go to there site, and read the first line in the top center block.

Scope dread is right and is in my eyes the most knowledgeable around CT as far as Evo is concerned , as far as any CMS goes it all boils down to user preference i know people that have tried xtreme but went to evo after so they can install the mods they choose same with many other CMSes. I know that killigan and the team are working hard on evo xtreme to make it better which they will do but like with anything there is only so much you can do to make some thing better.

My choice for any sites boils down to 3 CMSes ravennuke, nuke-evolution and vBulletin in that order but it all depends on what you want a site for and how you want it to look and feel

Don't get me wrong, Evo Extreme version 2 is a nice setup and to allot of game clans that don't have the experience or the knowledge to install allot of the mod/hacks, nor have the time to figure out what could be wrong with them when they just don't install correctly, it works out to there benifit. But for others, it might just have to much stuff that they don't want, but really don't have the choice to remove them from there system.

Me, when I first got in using Evo, Extreme was not around so I took the basic, and modded it my self, and ported allot of stuff to Evo for my site. Then Extreme 2.0.7 came out and it had some things in it that were pointless and caused some errors when converting from another CMS. For a while I recommended people to stay away from it if they were thinking of porting over to it from another CMS, but with there new version of extreme, they removed some of the "crap", (just using laymens terms), and made a better system out of it.

I do now recommend if they want all the bells and whistles, the Evo Extreme Version 2 is the way to go, If they want more of the "vanilla" version of Evo, then Evolution 2.0.7 is the way to go, not Extreme 2.0.7. All the fixes are there and easily added in along with the upgraded Sentinel.

But if they want more of a stock version of Nuke, then RavenNuke is the way to go. Evo though now, RN seems to be going more towards the root Evo went, they are still the best for the vanilla of all nukes, while retaining the security.

Eventually Nuke-Evolution Version 2.1.0 will replace Evo 2.0.7, but for me I do not recomend anyone making it there main CMS untill it is out of RC.

Just my 2cents

If I was going to start a new site,I would just stick with the basic package.The v2.0 seams to be a stable version now with a very few limited issues(far better than v1.0) Don't get me wrong xtreme has all the bells and whistles all pre installed, but I don't use them all. In my opinion, I would go with just the basic then add only the stuff you want.No need in having stuff your not going to use.And a less of a chance of running into a conflict with other things you install that are not in the v2.0 package. Of course these are all user preferences and just my opinion.
