hmm well apparently the new PNC4.5 which has it included is yes, so the developer says

but just from the ever so bad history of it getting hacked over many years, I can think of at least 5 vulnerabilities over the last 3-4 years...

The best bet would be to head over the the PNC forums and see if there is any members complaining of hacks !

VWar developers are also currently working on a new system. They claimed thus far they fixed everything and did a complete overhaul of it. They are also telling people if they are going to use the older system, to be warned that it is unsafe.

you can go to the VWar site and ask them if it is out of the RC version and going to have a final version soon.
