Sorry to bother you guys again. Have a real quick question. I put the files in my module but it is not showing up when I try to activate it. I appologize about all the questions but im a newbie at this learning on my own. Thanks again

hmm.. wrong folder

Upload 2142 to the modules folder so it would look like this

public_html/modules/2142

Then in admin modules activate it

Ok Acitvated it in the admin modules on the homepage it comes up in the main menu block when I click on it, it comes up you cannot access this file directly. Any suggestions?

What distro are you using as in another thread, someone else was saying that he has Evo and was doing the same thing..... I didn't test it on Evo, so maybe that's ya problem Confused

NO SCORPION it did not work still comes up same. This is suppost to be located in my Main Menu Block correct?

Looks like a chatserv compatibility problem

Open up the index.php of the 2142 info center and find

Code:

if (!eregi("modules.php", $PHP_SELF)) {
die ("You can't access this file directly...");

}

Change to

Code:

if ( !defined('MODULE_FILE') )
{
die("You can't access this file directly...");
}

YEA Got it Working. Had MODULES_FILE instead of MODULE_FILE im such a DUMMY. Thanks again guys for all your help and prompt response. By the way the 2142 info ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
