I'm looking for a way to have a drop box when a new PM has arrived. I have a user block that does it but, I'm trying to get away from using it if I can just have a JS file that I can ad to the header.

I think CT had something like it at one time that provided how many points the user had. But I only want this one to drop when there is a new PM only.

Also mybe drop for a sec when a new user comes online and fade away or something.

We had a points scroller that I would like to release, but it wasn't adapted to only show up when a user had a new PM. This is a rather tough one for a few reasons.

You might think of stripping the new PM feature from your current block and adapting it to your site rather than block specific.
